An experience tickled my fancy so much today I just had to share!

My friend, Maria, and I spent the morning together and on our rounds we picked up her son from school. Passing by many times, I never guessed that such a happy place was hidden behind that wall.

That’s Maria (standing in the white blouse) in this lovely classroom.

My little buddy, Diego. He’s in his uniform, which Maria explained, all kids have to wear however; they are told the fabric they must use and each mom creates the outfit the way they want. There were many creative and wonderful combinations. I always love individuality!

The back packs all lined up and organized.

Someone went to a lot of work to create these lovely spaces for the ninos (children) to play.

Three little girls were playing under a table.

They chased after me to get another photo.

All kids love playgrounds.

This translated is a cleanliness roster… each child has to take his/her turn.

And my favourite… of which I didn’t get a photo. Two little girls were sharing a snack. One of them dropped one on the ground. They stared at it, then at each other. One of the little girls shrugged, then picked it up. I’m thinking 5 second rule… then they walked over to a little boy, presumably a brother… and offered him the treat that hit the ground. He took it with glee, popping it into his mouth with enjoyment.

Kids are kids!

Have a happy day!

Inspire someone today!

Not feeling it? Be Kind. Be Generous… Be LOVE!

  1. A magical place for children! How could they not express their creative beings in this amazing environment? Thanks for sharing, Cindy. Love it!xoxox

  2. That is the most cheerful and inviting school environment I’ve ever seen, Cindy! How COULDN’T a person be happy there? And I love the UN-uniforms. A great way to hold onto individuality in an affordable way for all the kids. There’s a very insightful and artistic person behind all this… maybe it should be a model for our own schools. Thanks for sharing! xoxo
