I must admit I’m not a fan of the selfies – photos taken of oneself and shared with the world. I’m not good at them either, case in point it took me 17 takes to get this one, haha! That’s not to say when one of our kids shares a new haircut or them visiting a foreign land or a pic with Grandma that my heart doesn’t melt and I’m so very grateful for being included in their lives. It just seems the world has created ‘posers’. What happened to the natural photos? It seems now we have to pay big bucks to ‘create’ a natural photo.
I know we don’t have to go back so far ~ my dad kissing his girly ~ but seriously it’s rare to find photos of simple, natural times.
So when I read this article this morning it had me thinking and heck, today I’m giving to a cause, so I just had to share. Read the inspirational article here.
Today is giving Tuesday, consider how and where you might give? I’m going to Yaya’s, a local restaurant in my little Mexican town, to assist with rescued animals. Having rescued our two cats, this is a cause near and dear to my heart.
