My husband is busily running the numbers and creating a budget while also meeting with contractors to determine how we can put a new floor in ~ there is a huge opening between the main and 2nd floors, which if filled in, will add lovely space to the Inn as it provides us privacy below.
I’m busy designing, planning and visualizing how the space will look and feel. This week I’ve been focusing on the guest rooms as they’re what the Inn is all about. The name Villa Amor says it all… it’s all about the LOVE!
What we know for sure is;
We want our guests to focus on Romance, Relaxing and Rejuvenation so that when return home they’ll once again be ready to take on the world.
Below are photos of bedrooms I like and that are my inspiration in moving forward.

I’ve numbered the photos and I’d sure appreciate it if you indicated in the comment space below, which room you’d choose to stay in if you were to visit Villa Amor del mar, and why? Also, please let me know what would make your stay exceptional if you were to get away for a romantic vacation.
Gracias!

Not feeling it? Be kind, be generous… be love!

Hola! I LOVE the name of the Inn and the rooms are all wonderful. To be more specific though I have made some notes on my favourites, focusing on the romance, relaxation and rejuvenation theme of the Inn:3. Room is very warm and welcoming5, 12, 25 and 30. These rooms have the bed as the focal point and that brings a sense of romance. I love the look of the drapes hanging over the bed.6. Adore the color in this room – again feels romantic. If I was to lay in this bed, I wouldn’t get out.7. This room brings a sense of the outdoors, away from the hustle of the city.15. Look is very clean and fresh.21. The black and white flowers on the duvet make this room.23. WHERE DID YOU SEE THAT BED – I WANT IT!!!24 and 27. Flower pedals on the bed bring a feeling of romance and love.My ideal romantic getaway would need a king size extremely comfortable bed, a bath tub for two, lots of privacy and a bottle of wine (or 2 or 3) ; )Hope this helps!!
Yup! Turquoise is great!

I like a King bed. Iike a microfibre mattress. I like soft lights and lots of outlets,windows that open. I hate those windows that won't open. I need air. I like nice sheets and soft colors.
