Our families greatest Christmas present this year, Angel baby Natalie. She’s bringing JOY to so many!
Kids our always a blessing to me! Being away from family over this Christmas season, they bring me even more JOY! One of the many things I LOVE about Mexico is that family sticks together. It is rare that parents with younger children are seen out alone. Their kids are with them. They play, they dance, they sing. They entertain themselves, each other and often us older folks. I imagine Canadian bars may be more successful if they allowed families to ‘hang’ together as mom and dad enjoyed a beverage and a few tunes. The house parties I attend remind me of celebrations back home as we always included young to old in our parties and I’m never sure who has more fun!
The pics of kids lined up and receiving toys from Santa are at a local bar, Philo’s, where Philo enrolls the town folk to help gather gifts for all the children. The street is closed off, the party is in Philo’s and on the street. This year, Philo and his elves helped Santa to make 465 kids very happy with gifts and 138 people were fed turkey dinner.
